K pop fandom creeps me out for numerous reasons but one weird thing  is that it’s the only music following I can think of where I have never actually seen the fans talk about the actual music.

that’s what someone who never listened to kpop or was in a kpop fandom says lmao “non-kpop fans stop trying to drag kpop fans for things you suppose happen in kpop w/o having any idea” challenge failed yet again. it’s sad to see people assume things just to make a group they dont belong to look bad. i only got into kpop when i started liking the music and it’s the music that keeps me stanning, the rest is extra. if you were in a kpop fandom when an album is released, you’ll see more talk about the music and lyrics than you’ll ever see in any kind of music fandom. people analyse lyrics, talk about the genres used and what they mean, do covers of the songs, talk about what the songs meant for them personally, and there are tons of excerpts of the songs of parts they particularly liked, whether it was singing, rapping, or even adlibs. there is so mumch talk about the music, that you wouldnt know about bc you arent in a fandom
